On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman and carried, copies of minutes of planning ~mmission meetings of August 18th and SeSember 5th were accepted and placed on fi~ ~r hture ~eference. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Neff ~d carrie~ bond in amount of $500.00 furnished by Geo. ~'. Ezelle ~r Electrical work was referredto the Chair ~r approval or disapproval. A communication from Jules ~.Mar~l and Son, contractors, effering to relay the floor of East Side Fire Station if City will provide flooring was read. On m~ ion of Tr~ te~ Chapman, seconded by Neff and carted, matter was refe to a Committee to in~atigate and report: Trustees McPhee and Collier were appointed as such Committee. The following notice addressed to the Street Superinten- dent was received from Wm. H. Moore, Jr., Receiver for Harper Bros. Commercial Co., Be~krupt, w~ h reference to dump ground was read: ~/ou will please be advised that a Petition in Bankruptcy has been filed against Harper Brothers Commercial Company, ~nc., e corporation, and that ~nding the ~earing of this Petition Wm. N. Moore, Jr., of Los Angeles has been anpointed by the United ~tatea Dietri~ Court a~ Los Angeles, the Receiver of said corporation, and inasmuc~ as the ~ontract between the city of Santa Ana and said corporation axpired on the 1st day of September, i~YA, you are further hereby advised that on al ~fter the Ath day of September, i~YA, f~ every load of rubbish and garbage delivered to the dump of said cor- poration a charge of $1.00 will be made by said Receiver, and this charge, of course, will include the ~ity of ~anta Ans." On motion of Trustee MePhee, seconded by ~napman and carried, notice was accepted and placed on file.
