Rerry#entges Geo. ~ Fuerstenau Item 1 On motion of Trustee McPhee, a.~ocnded by Neff and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a % co~ittee to investigate matter of overflow water from S. A. V. I. Co. lines in.vicinity of West 9th and Artesia 5treats: Trustee McPhee, City Attorney and City Engineer were appointed as such Committee. f On motion cf Trustee 0oll~r, seconded by McPhee and carried, Water Superintendent and Plumbing Inspector were instructed to have meeting with examination bm rd of Master Plumbers and bring in report and recommendation as to remedy for over- hea~tng of water-meter discs. On Motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by MoPhee and carried, traffic signal at First & Main Streets was ordered removed. T~is being the time e~d place eat forth fca. o~ening bids or proposals for the laying of irrigation pipe on sewer farm, and the Board being now in ope n session, proceeded to.open, examine and declare all bids received, as followst Item 1. The excavation of a trench of not less than three (3) feet in depth and laying therein ~f twelve (]2) inch concrete irrigation pipe (pipe to be furnid~ed by the city of Sm ta Aaa, and delivered to the sewer farm) and the backfilling of the same, c~ replete with the furniehing of al 1 neeeaesry e~ ip- men t, ~abor and material, on an estimate ~ four thousand one hundred (4100) linear feet. Item ~. ~he inst~llstion of ~d the furnishing of all fittings and mater~l equipment, and l~or neceaear~ to construct eemplete in place the fclloei sizes of standard stand .pipes: (a) One stand pipe ten (10) feet h~h'haVing an inside diameter ~ th~ty-Six (36) inches and equipped with three twelve (12) inch ~ut off gates, (b) pne stand pipe six (6) feet high, having an inane diameter of twent~ fo~ (~4~ inches and equipped with one ~welve inch abut off gate and ei~t and one-half inch fid# valve. (~) One stand p!pe fou~ fee~ h~gh having an ineld diameter of twenty four inches and e~iped with two twelve inch sh~zt off gates. Item 3.
