Cone as police officer was ~ccepted. On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Collier end carried ~polic~tions of J. A. Randall, V,m. C. Melchert and John H. Hobinson for arpointment as police officers were referred to the Police Committee. On motion c~ Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chepman and carried, application of Edward~ Service Station for oermission to install additional 550 gallon capacity g~soline storage t~nk ~t 1629 West 5th St. was gr~nted. On motion of Trustee ~cPhee, seconded by Neff ,nd carried ar~lication of Postmaster for rermission to piece flag at edge of sidew,lk in front of post office entrance was referred to ~ Committee: Trwstee Chapman being ~ointed ~s such Committee. A com~unlcation from ~.. B. Martin was read with reference to Oav~ng of Roe Drive. On motion of Trustee Neff, by Collier ~nd carried, City Engineer and City Attorney were instructed to proceed with necessary steps for the poving of said street. On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman end carrie communication from Wel~s & Bress~er w~th reference to installation of public utilities on Wilshire Tract wes acce~ted and olaced on file. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chef,nan and c~rr~ed, application of Robertson Electric Company fa- permission to install electric sign for Overland-Santa An~ Company at 5th and Birch Sts. was referred to the City Electrician.
