On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and carried, same was accepted and placed on file. A petition wee presented asking for tbs ~nstallmt~on of street light in ~lley, or court, tn Tract No.~gg, between ~,st Camlle and B~shop Streets. On motion of Trustee Wurtnton, seconded by Co~lier ~nd carried, ~etltion was refer~d to Trustee ~cP~ee. ~n motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Collier and carried, a~llcatlon of A. Glantz for to buy and se~l second hand clothing et ~04 S~urgeon Street w~s referred to tbs Police Co~mitt~e. A petition was presented asking for the installation of sidewalk on Sba]ton Street between Chestnut ~nd First Streets. On motion of ~ustee Purinton, seconded by Collier ~nd c~rr~ed, petition w~s referred to Co~ittee for e~ecking and report at next meetln~: Trustee Purtnton ~nd City engineer w~e ap~oln~ed as s~ch Commltt~e. A petition w,s ~resented fr~ pronerty owners on West Eighth Street between Artesf~ ,nd English Streets, requesting the instal~atlon of sewer l~nes street. A letter from Health Officer Dr. Presson urging sde~ installation accompanied the petition. On motion of Trustee Purinton,-seconded by Cha~an carried, ~tltion was referred to the Sewer Superin- tendent for checking. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapman and carried, Crlf~ith Con,any w~s ~ranted ~ixty d~ys extension of ti~e for como]etlon of contract eovertng improvement of W.Washington Avenue and S~uth Artesia and other streets.
