On motion of Trustee Chepm, n, seconded by Purinton and carried, report of ~ea]th DeBrtment for the month of Sentember was referred to the Finance Committee. A ~etiticn from residents on Flower Street between 10th St. end Washington Avenue requesting instnllation of sidewalk on that portion of said street w~s presented. Petition represented 56% of tbs frontage involved. On motion of Trustee Purlnton, seconded by Ch~man and carried, petition was accepted and work e~dered in. . ~r. J. E. Livesey w~s before the Board as a represent~ti~ of the East Side Im~ovement Association and entered protest against the blocking of traffic on East Fourth Street b~ the operation of S~ Fe trains. On motion of Trustee Cb, p man, seconded by Collier end car~ed, one member of tbs Board and City Attorney were instructed to cooperate with tbs Improvement Association in matter up with S~ ta Fe to eliminate blockade. ~pointed to represent the Board. On motion of Trustee Collier, seconded by ~urinton and carried, City Attorney w~s instructed to work in conjunction w~th Health Dep~rtment in nre~ring ordinance regulating keeping of domestic fowls inside th. City Limits. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Collier .nd carried,, Eugene Griset w~s g~nted ~ermission to move two small houses from ~outh Flower Street to a point outside the City.
