Maln St. Zion Evangelical Church - 10th & Main Sis. petition was introduced signed by business men East of M~n Street requesting that the Yost Theatre sign across East Fourth ~treet be allowed to remain. On moti[ of Trustee Purinton, seconded by McPhee and carried, petition was denied. A protest was presented si~ned by property owners on Sba]ton Street between Chestnut nnd 1st St. against t~e ~on~t~ction of sidewalk on Shelton St.. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by ~cPhee ~nd cerrled, pr ores1 was referred to tbs City mrgineer for checking, also with request that drainage condition along Sbelton St. be checked. Mr. Neff advised that tbs w~tter has ~lready been taken up with tbs ~scieic Electric and report will be secured st an early dste. On ~otion cf Trustee Purinton, scconded by McPhee and carried, Anna Levin was granted free license for cenwsst~g in the City. On motion of Trustee Purlnton, seconded by McPhee and carried question of speeding by police officers was referred to Trustee McPhee with power to act.
