In Re Petition for ornamental lights - Oak Street. 143 On motion of T~ustee Collier, seconded by Chapman an( carried, a vote of thanks was tendered the Street and Engineering Departments for work in connection with City of Santa Aha Float entered in Armistice Day Parade; a vote of t,anka was also given Mr. Haan for transportation for the Board of Trustees. # On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapman carried, City Attorney was authorized to purchase necessary new furniture for his office. # On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and carried, permission to hang roll, lng electric signs was granted under supervision of electric inspec Robertson Electric Company to hang signs for Beisel Lug~age Shop at 422 N.Sycamore St. H.E.Wagner, 104 N.Main Bt. Cgpe Electric Co. to hang signs for Harry D Riley, 207 East Fifth St. L.E.Eshom, 402 N. Main St. Yost Theatre, 302 East Fourth Street. Geo. Ezelle to hanZ signs for Mrs.E.M.Wilson, 208 W. lat St. McFadden Market, 815 N. Main St. # A copy of resolution by the Board of Supervisors with reference to repaying of East First Street from Main to the East City Limits and granting the City $20,000 toward the cost of this improvement was read. On motion of Trustee Chalmnan, ascended by Purinton and carried, same was accepted and placed on file. A protest by H.E.Parton with reference to installing sidewalk on Shelton Bt. frc~ 1st to Chestnut was read, On m~ ion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by McPhee and carried, former action of the Hoard o~dering the construction of sidewalk on Shelton St. from 1st to Chestnut St. was rescinded, due to fact that property 5wners involved have not requested the improvement. # A conununication from the Marbelite Corporation cf America presenting a bond in amount of $800 to insure the costs of any proceedings designating Marbelite lighting standards was read. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chalmnan and carried, bond was referred to the Chair for approval or disapproval. A petition from property owners on Oak Street between Bishop and McFadden requesth~the installation of Marbelite ~namental lightin6 standards was presented
