On motion of Trustee in N.Bdwy Park Tract and on West Walnut St. of two 1~ inch services. Ch~rman, seconded by Purtnton and carried, City Attorney was instructed to take necessary steps for re]easln~ easement dated Oct.25th, 1919 from ~'. A. Oreenleaf tot he City of S~nta Ans covering Bristol Street well site. Mr. Asa Hoffman presented petitions from property owner~ on East First Street requestirg the widening and paving of said street from ~In to the S. P. tracks to a w~ th of 48 ft. Mr. Lawrence ~oye of Vis~lla entered an oral ~rotest against the widening of the street, in behalf of his mother who owns property on First Street. TTis bmin~ t,~e t~we and place set fort~ in Re~ lu+i on ol Intention No.1582 to order work done ~nd improvement made upon and along s portion of East First Street, Cypress Ave., Lacy St. mad Evergreen St., and the Board of Trustees being duly-convened in open seaM. on, procee to hear all woteats. A written protest w~s against the improvement filed by J.~.l. tvesey ~rotcstin of East P~rst St. as prop~ed in the proceeding now under cons~d eratlon for the remso thmt a move,rent ia under way for the widening of amid sir et, w~ich might cause two separate proceedings.
