On motion of Trustee <br />Collier, seconded by Goods and carried, s Committee was <br />appointed to investigate a~d to confer w~th Ci~F Attorney <br />regavd~ ordinance regulatinR pole lines: Trustees <br />Goods, McPhee and Mr. Neff were appointed as such Committe <br />with ~ower to Act. <br /> <br />~r. He presented <br />Mr. Smith, formerly with Los Angeles City Department, <br />who spoke regarding erroneous house numbering and presents, <br />copies of Los Angeles Ordinances covering the question. <br />Copies of the ordinances were filed with the Engineer for <br />discussion with the City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trus~;ee C~an, seconded by Goods and <br />carried, request of Mr. O'Brien for water for trees in <br />parking on S. Van Ness and S.~o~s Streets was denied. <br /> <br />Mr. C. O. Wh'te of 822 East Fourth Street a~neared before <br />the Board ~nd requested that two avacsdo trees in harking <br />at that location be allowed to remain ,nd not removed by <br />~he St. Dept.
