Part of City. <br /> <br /> In Re <br /> <br />~,Amelndme nt <br /> <br /> Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />In ~e <br /> <br />Pet it ion <br /> <br />Street Lights. <br /> <br />In I/e <br /> <br />Resolution N0.1823. <br /> <br />Re-assessment <br /> <br />Oxford Street. <br /> <br />115 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Goods and oar- <br />tied, the Oity Engineer was instructed to draw plans <br />and specifications for the paving of South Parian <br />Street from the south line of Fairview Avenue to the <br />north line of Tract No. 552. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />This being the day and hour set forth in the Notiae <br />of Hearing for an amendmmnt to the Zoning Ordinance <br />of the City of Santa Ana to change the zone covering <br />the property within the area bounded on the East by <br />Mabury Street, on the North by Santa Clara Avenue, on <br />the West by LincOln Street and on the South by Seven- <br />teenth Street, from single family residence distr~ t <br />to heavy industrial district, the City Council pro- <br />seeded to hear protests. No person appearing to pro- <br />test or object to the. re,zoning of said territory, on <br />motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the reoo~nendation of the Planning Cormnission <br />was accepted and the petition to re-zone territory <br />between ~bury, Santa Clara, Lincoln and Seventeenth <br />Street from single family residence to heavy industr <br />was granted. <br /> <br />On motion cf Trustee Goods, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commiss <br />was accepted that the Zoning Ordinance be amended to <br />make oil drilling a special use an the property <br />the area bounded on the East by Mabury Street, on <br />the North by Santa Clara Avant,e, on the West by Lin- <br />coln Street and on the ~outh by Seventeenth Street. <br /> <br /> On motion of Tr~ tee Goods, seconded by Knox and car- <br /> ried, action on petition for street lights on Van <br /> Ness, St. Gertrude, Sycamore, Broadway, Birch, Ross, <br /> Patton andGarnsey Streets, was deferred until a <br /> later date. <br /> <br /> The written request of Orif£ith Company, the owner <br /> and holder of all the bands issuedto represent unpaid <br /> assessments for the improvement of Oxford Street fro <br /> the East line of South Main Street to the ~est line <br /> of ~aple Street, as provided in Resolution of Inten- <br /> tion No. 1V21 passed and adopted by the Board of <br /> Trustees of the City of ~anta Ana on the 51st day of <br /> January, 1927, having been filed with the City Clerk <br /> requesting the erde~ing of a re-assessment, the said <br /> request was considered by the City Council and the <br /> testimony of 01yde L.
