Goode, <br /> F.L.Purlnton. <br /> <br />Trustees: None <br /> <br />Trustees: None <br /> <br />A resolution was introduced declaring it to be <br />the intention of the City Council to order the <br />construction of a sewer system, and otherwise <br />improving of Hal~ay Street, from a point 510.42 <br />feet south of the south line of First St. to the <br />south line of First Street, Garfield St., Sixth <br />St. and Poinsettia Street. <br /> <br />The resolution was ordered filed, read, con- <br />sidered, designated Resolution of Intention No. <br />1855 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees: J.L.McBrlde, W.J.Kelly, W.G.Kn¢ <br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees: None <br />Absent,Trustees: None <br /># <br /> <br />This being the time and place to which the hear- <br />ing of protests covering the installation of <br />ornamental lights in the Wilshire Lighting Dist- <br />rict was continued and the City Council being <br />duly convened in open session, a further hearing <br />of protests was had. In behalf of various <br />property owners, Attorney W. F. Menton, entered <br />oral protest against the installation of Marbelit <br />standards. Mr. B. G. Anderson appeared before <br />the Board and requested that his name,~represent- <br />lng ?50 feet of frontage involved, be withdrawn <br />from original protest. <br /> <br />Report of Engineer showed that written protests <br />represented only 33.71% of frontage involved. <br />After due consideration by the City Council, on <br />motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Good e and <br />unanimously carried, all p~c~ests were overruled <br />and denied. <br /> <br />A resolution was then introduced ordering the <br />work to be done and i~provement made as briefly <br />set out in Resolution of Intention No. 1842. <br /> <br />The resoluti°n was ordered filed, read, conslder~ <br />designated Resolution Ordering Work No. 1856 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kel!y, <br /> W.G.Knox, Stanley E.
