Wilmington <br /> 342.39 Net <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and car- <br /> <br />tied, the bids on water pipe were referred to the Watez <br /> <br />Superintendent for checking and report back December <br /> <br />27th. <br /> <br />This being the time and place fixed for the opening of <br /> <br />bids or proposals for the work ordered done and im- <br /> <br />provement made upon and along a portion of that open <br /> <br />public street in the City of Santa Ana commonly kno%m <br /> <br />as Parton Street and briefly described in Resolution <br /> <br />Intention No.1843 and ordered done by Resolution No. <br /> <br />1850, and the City Council being duly convened in open <br /> <br />session proceeded to and did publicly open, examine <br /> <br />and declare all bids received as follows: <br /> <br />Item No. '1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying <br />thereon of a ~ive (5) inch Portland Cement Concrete <br />Pavement, complete with the furnishing of all necessa- <br />ry equipment, labor and material for the stun of <br />per square foot. <br />Item No. 2. The excavation for and the construction of <br />Portland Cement Concrete curbs, complete with the fur- <br />nishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material <br />for the sum of per linear foot. <br />Item No. 3. The excavation fOr and the construction of <br />Po~tland Cement Concrete sidewalks, having a total <br />thickness of three and one-half (3~) inches, complete <br />with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor <br />and material for the sum of per square foot. <br />Item No. 4. The trenching, TR'~ing and laying of <br />six (6) inch diameter salt glazed vit?ified clay pipe <br />main sewer complete with the furnishing of all necessa- <br />ry equipment, labor and material for the sum of <br />per linear foot. <br />Item No. 5. The trenching, furnishing and laying of <br />four~ (4) inch diameter salt glazed vitrified clay pipe <br />house connecting sewer laterals complete with the fur- <br />nishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material <br />for the sum of per linear foot~ <br />Item No. 6. The excavation for and the construction of <br />standard concrete sewer manholes complete with the fur- <br />nishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material <br />for the sum of each. <br />Item No. 7. The excavation for and the construction of <br />standard concrete sewer flush tank complete with the <br />furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and mater- <br />iai for the sum of complete. <br />Item No. 8. The trenching, furnishing, and laying of <br />four (4) inch diameter class "B" cast iron water main <br />conplete with the furnishing of all necessary gate <br />valves, plugs, fittings, concrete valve boxes with cast <br />iron frames and covers, complete with the furniahing of <br />sll necessary equipment, labor end material for the sum <br />of per linear foot. <br />Item No. 9. The trenching, furnishing and laying of <br />three quarter (~) inch diameter wrought iron pipe house <br />service connections, complete with the furnishing of <br />all necessary corporation Cocks, curb cock~,lead connec- <br />tions and fittings complete with the ih~rnishing of all <br />necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of <br /> each. <br />~. 10.
