On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVE~: ~~ <br />M~yor of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br />October 21st, 1929. <br /> <br />V:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Purinton. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, <br />Homer C. Chaney, Stanley E. Goode, F.L. purinton. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Minutes of meetings of October Vth and 14th <br /> approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Secretary of Interior. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Church Banner. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Hearing before <br /> <br />Railroad Commission. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bonds for <br /> <br />Housemoving. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bond for <br /> <br />Cliff c~d E. Treat. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and' car- <br />ried, the communication from the Secretary of the <br />Interior thanking the Council for their telegram relative <br />to available water for Southern California, was accepted <br /> <br />and placed on file. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, <br />tied, the application of C.D. <br /> <br />seconded by Goode and car- <br /> permission <br />Hicks requesting/to ha~g <br /> <br />banner advertising church meeting, across Bishop Street <br />near Main Street, was granted on condition that resident~ <br />in vicinity do not object. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the communication from the State Railroad Commis- <br />sion relative to hearing date set November Sth, 1929, at <br />10:30 A.M., with reference to subway to be constructed <br />on East Fourth Street, was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the bonds of A. D. Moodie and 0. V. Dart as House- <br />movers, each in amount of $1000.00, were referred to the <br />Chair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Gocde, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the bond of Clifford E. Treat amount of $500.00, <br />for Electrical Work was referred to the Chair for <br />or disapproval. <br /> <br /> <br />
