Fourth Street. On motion of Trustee Goods, <br />seconded by ~cBride and carried, the hearing of Mr. <br />Hoffman was continued until November 18th for the purpos~ <br />of securing more information on his lease. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goods and car- <br />tied, the reco~nendation of the Planning Cormmission was <br />accepted and the application of Will Flood to erect an <br />apartment and office building at the Southeast corner of <br />Tenth and Broadway, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by ~cBride and car- <br />tied, the withdrawal of the application of the First <br />National Bank for the rezoning of property located 300 <br />feet west of the Southwest corner of Fairview and Flower <br />was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />tied, the application of P. Ysais to erect a public <br />garage on Lot ll Block 16 Pacific Electric Subdivision <br />located on West First Street, was granted and the Build- <br />ing Inspector instructed to issue building permit on sam, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the property located on the Southwest corner of <br />siXth and Sycamore Street was ordered posted for ~pecial <br />uses in accordance ~rlth the application of Arthur W. <br />Angle for the erection of a service, station and hearing <br />date set November 18th~ 1929. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, bond of C. H. Eckles covering auto busses being <br />operated in the City of Santa Ana, was referred to the <br />Chair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Ke].ly, seconded by Goods and car- <br />ried, L.G. Swales was appointed as a member of the <br /> <br />Library Board. <br /> <br />A petition was presented signed by Alfred C. Hartwig and <br />others, representing one-fourth of the qualified elector~ <br />for the annexation of territory known as the ~est Orange <br />Road Addition.
