Patton Street was <br />ordered posted for courts and apartment house zone in <br /> <br />accordance with application <br />a duplex. Hearing date was <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, <br /> <br />of ti. W. Garlick to erect <br />set April 8th, 1929. <br /> <br />seconded by Goode and car- <br /> <br /> ried, on recommendation of the City Manager, the con- <br /> tract for the construction of Fire Hall on N. Sycamore <br /> Street was awarded to Wilson-Beret Construction Company, <br /> as the lowest responsible bidder for the total price of <br /> $14,072.00~ and the Clerk instructed to return certified <br /> check of Jules W. Markel & Son and check of Wilson-Bever <br /> Construction Company when contract is signed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br /> ried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids on <br /> a 600 gallon Fire Engine Pump according to plans and <br /> specifications on file in the Manager's office, same to <br /> be opened April 22nd, 1929. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br />This being the time and place set for opening bids for <br />gasoline for the coming year and the City Council being <br />'in open session proceeded to open bids as follows: <br /> <br /> Langley 0il Co. ---~ below tank wagon price. <br /> Shlpkey & Pearson---3~ " " " <br /> Standard 0il Co. ---3~ " " " " <br /> Richfield Oil Co.---3~ " " " " <br /> Union 0il Co. ---3~ " " " " <br /> R.
