Fifth Street were granted to sell fireworks. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the rep6rt of the Health Department for the month <br />of May was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> <br />ried, the bond of Paul Nordstrom to contract for Cement <br />Sidewalk and Curbing was referred to the Chair for <br /> <br />approval or disappr~ al. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, <br /> <br />seconded by Goode and car- <br /> <br />tied, the application of John Maher to buy, sell and <br />store newspapers and junk at 415 E. Pine Street, was <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, property on N. Sycamore Street between Washington <br />Avenue and Seventeenth Street was ordered posted to <br />change the zone from single family residence to Courts <br />and Apartment zone and hearing date set June 24th. <br /> <br />A resolution was introduced declaring it to be the in- <br />tention of the City Council to establish a fifteen foot <br />set back line upon North Sycamore Street, on both sides <br />of said street, from Washington Avenue to Seventeenth <br />Street, excepting the corner lots on Washington Avenue <br />and Seventeenth Street, respectively. <br /> <br /> The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution of Intention No. 2101 and passed <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Stanley E. <br /> Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees Homer C. Chaney. <br /> <br /> This being the time and place when and where interested <br /> persons might appear and show cause why bonds should not <br /> be issued upon the secmrity of the unpaid assessments <br /> for work done and improvement made upon Pine Street, in <br /> accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 2081 and <br /> the City Council being now in session, proceeded to hear <br /> all protests presented. <br /> <br /> No person appearing to protest or show any cause why <br /> bonds should not be issued a resolution was introduced <br /> <br /> <br />
