No. 2108 <br /> <br />Intention---Set-Back <br /> <br />Lines on Washington Ave. <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br />said propostion in the territory to be annexed as afore- <br />said was thirteen and the number of votes cast therein <br />in favor of annexation was five, and the number of votes <br />cast therein against annexation was eight, and the City <br />Council finds that as a result of said election the <br />proposition of annexing said territory to the City of <br />Santa Ana was defeated. <br /> <br />0n motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by fl~sney and car- <br />ried, the Council proceeded to canvass the returns of <br />the Annexation Election of the Delhi Addition to the <br />City of Santa Ana, being the time provided for its regu- <br />lar meeting next after the expiration of three days from <br />and after the date of said election held ~uly 9th, 1929, <br />as required b~ law. There was one election precinct <br />established and provided for the hodling of said special <br />election and the whole number of votes cast on said pro- <br />position in the territory to be annexed as aforesaid <br />was 132 and the number of votes cast therein in favor <br />of annexation was 79, and the number of votes cast <br />therein against annexation was 53, and the City Council <br />finds that as a result of said election the proposi~ion <br />of annexing said territory to the City of Santa Ana <br />was favorably voted upon. <br /> <br />A resolution was introduced declaring result of the <br />special election held July 9th, 1929, for the Annexation <br />of the West Chapman Addition to the City of Santa Ana, <br />showing the proposition was defeated. The resolution wa~ <br />ordered filed, read, considered, designated Resolution <br />No. 2106 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trust~es J.L. McBride, Homer C. Chaney, <br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> Trustees~ None. <br /> <br /> Trustees W.J. Kelly. <br /> <br />A resolution adopting plans and specifications for the <br /> <br />improvement to be mad~ upon and along Grand Avenue and <br />Second Street, was filed, read, considered, designated <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2107 and passed by the follo~ng vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />J.L.
