McBride, W.J~ Kelly, B.O. Sutton. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees Stanley E. Goode, F.L. City Schools. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Walter Becklund. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Contractor's Bonds. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petitions in <br /> <br />behalf of Taxi Companies. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and car- <br /> <br />ried, the request of the Santa Aha City Schools for the <br /> portions of <br />installation of sidewalks adjacent to schools on/Baker <br /> <br />Street, Eighth Street, Washington Avenue an~ Santa Clara <br />Avenue aggregating approximately VllO feet, was referred <br />to the Council as a whole and the Engineer for investi- <br />gation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the co~unication from the Santa Aha City Schools <br />inclosing form of bid for the smle of the Frances <br />Junior High School site on North Main Street, was taken <br />under advisement. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the application of Walter Becklund for permission <br />to conduct a Used Car Market at 109 Bush Street, was <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the application of Gilbert-weston-Stearns Inc., <br />to hang an electric sign for the Turner Radio Store at <br />221 W. Fourth Street, was granted under supervision of <br />the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On mo~ion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br /> <br />ried, bonds covering contract work in the City of Santa <br />Aha were referred to the Chair for approval or disa <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Livingston & Snipes <br />L. Carlson <br /> <br />Lather $ 500.00 <br />Plasterer 1000.00 <br />" 1000.00 <br />Plumber 2000.00 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the petitions signed by 445 residents of Santa Aha <br />in behalf of the Taxi Companies being operated in the <br />City, were taken under advisement. <br /> <br /> <br />
