Wilensky. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on <br /> <br />Neon Electric Sign. <br /> <br />249 <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Sutton and car- <br /> <br />ried, the request of sixty-seven barbers to pass an <br /> hours for <br />Ordinance regulating the/opening and closing of barber <br /> <br />shops in the City, was denied in view of the fact that <br />the City Attorney gave his opinion that Ordinance would <br />be illegal. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Ooode and car- <br />ried, the resolution passed by representatives of Service <br />Clubs, Civic Organizations and others in the City, urging <br />the Council to acquire the Willard Junior High School <br />Site f~ erectio~ of City Buildings at a later date, was <br />accepted and the Chair instructed to appoint a committee <br />to meet with the School Board to ascertain some facts <br />with reference to financial situation of said Board which <br />makes it necessary to sell the School Site. Trustees <br />Goode and Sutton appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the communication from the American Legion endorsing <br />the City Council to call a bond election for the purchase <br />of additional property and improvement thereof for parks <br />and playgrounds, was accepted and filed for future ref- <br /> <br />erenoe. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, <br /> <br />seconded by Sutton and car- <br /> <br />Pied, the property located at the southwest corner of <br />Borchard and Main Street was ordered ~osted for special <br />use and the hearing date set September 15th, 1950, in <br />accordance with the application of M. M. Stankey to erect <br />a service station. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the property located at the southwest corner of <br />Broadway and Fairview was ordered posted for Cou~ts and <br />Apartment House Zone and the hearing date was set Septem- <br />ber 15th, 1930, in accordance with the application of <br /> <br />H. Rudnick and H. Wilensky to erect three-four family <br />flat buildings. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the Council proceeded tocpen bids on One Neon Elec- <br />tric Sign to be erected at the entrance of Santa Aha <br /> <br />Boulevard, as follows: <br /> <br />Neale Rainbow Light Corp. <br />Electrical Products Corp. <br />S.
