No. 2251 <br /> <br />Ordering Issuance <br /> <br />of Acquisition Bonds <br />Acq. & Improve.D!st #5 <br /> <br />Richland Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrant in favor <br />of the Metal Craft Company amount cf $$32.40 covering <br />the construction and erection of Neon Eleo~tric Sign at <br />the entrance of Santa Ana Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, secc~ded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the application of the National Guards for permis- <br />sion to use Baseball Bowl for drill purposes, was g: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, A. T. Waggener was appointed special police <br />without pa~ of the City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br />Mr. George Wells,representing the Planning Commission, <br />appeared before the 0ouncil urging the purchase of pro- <br />perty at the northwest corner of Flower and Washington <br />for park purposes. On motion of Trustee ~cBride, secon- <br />ded by Kelly and carried, the matter was taken under <br />advisement and a committee as a whole were appointed to <br />investigate. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, property owners were ordered tO ~o~struct <br />on the east side of Bush Street between Twentieth and <br />Santa Clara, the south side of Santa Clara Avenue <br /> <br />Bush and the Hoover School, the east side of Spurgeon <br />Street between Santa Clara and Edgewood and the south <br />side of Edgewood Street between Spurgeon and Poinsettia. <br /> <br />This being the time and place when and where interested <br />persons might appear and show cause why bonds should not <br />be issued against the lands in the Assessment District <br />in Acquisition and Improvement District No. §, also <br />known as Richland Street, for the purpose of obtaining <br />the amount required to pay the interlocutory Judgments <br />in the action brought to condemn the property sought to <br />be taken for the acquisition of Richland Street, in ac- <br />cordance with Resolution of Intention No. 2125, and the <br />City Council being now in session, proceeded to hear all <br />protests presented. <br /> <br />No person appearing to protest or show any cause why <br />bonds should not be issued, a resolution was introduced <br />ordering issuance of acquisition bonds for said district <br />The resoluti°n was o~dered filed, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 2251 and passed by the follow- <br />ing vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
