<br /> On motion of T~ustee McBride, seconded by Goods and car-
<br /> ried, the application of the First Christian Church of
<br /> Santa Aha to erect a building at the northeast corner
<br /> of Sixth and Birch Streets, was referred back to the
<br /> Flanning Commission.
<br />
<br /> On motion cf T~ustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car-
<br /> ried, the request of Company "L" 185th Infantry for a
<br /> donation of $200.00 to the Mess Fund, was granted and
<br /> the Clerk instructed to issue warrant covering f~om the
<br /> General Fund.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car-
<br />ried, the p~cpe~t~, located approximately 180 feet east
<br />King Street and south of the Pac~Eic Electric Ry. tracks'
<br />on Pacific Electric Railway Company,s right-of-way was
<br />ordered posted fc~ light industrial zone according to
<br />application of Harold Osborne Company to erect a packing
<br />house. Hearing date set July 21st, 1930.

<br />On motion cf Trustee GooSe, seconded by McBride and car-
<br />ried, the application of the Gilmore Oil Company
<br />pex,miaelon to widen their approach to fifty feet at
<br />viee~staticn,lecated at the corner of Chapman an~ Santa
<br />Aha Boulevard, was granted.
<br />
<br />A resolution adopting plans andspecifications for the
<br />improvements to be made upon a portion cf Rose Avenue,
<br />was filed, read, considered, designated Resolution No.
<br />221~ and passed by the following vote:

<br />This being the time and place set forth in Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 2208, to order the work and improvement
<br />made in, on and along portions of First, Main, Bush,
<br />Cypress, Spurgeon, Orange, French, Maple, Oak, Hickox~j,
<br />Lacy, Halladay, Garfield, Cedar, Evergreen and Minnie
<br />Streets, and the City Council being duly convened in
<br />open session, proceeded to hear and pass upon all pro-
<br />tests presented.

<br />No owner of property liable to be assessed for said work
<br />made w~itten protest or any protest against the proposed
<br />work or against the extent of the district to be
<br />therefor and no person appearing to protest or object or
<br />show any cause why the improvement Ihould not be carried
