Lan61ey. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seccnded by Goods s~d car- <br />ried, the communication of the Pacific Electric Railway <br />Company relative to the discontinuation of the Pacific <br />Electric passenger service between Santa Ana and Orange <br />was taken under advisement until a Joint meeting ia held <br />at some future date with the City Council of Orange for <br />discussion of the application filed before the Railroad <br />C~iss'ice. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the bonds of J. J. Woodward for Plastering and of <br />H. Rudnick for Cement Sidewalk and Curbing, were <br />to the Chair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />tied, the property at 830-34 N. Broadway was ordered <br />posted for special uses in accordance with the applica- <br />tion of H. N. Jeffers to construct a miniature golf <br />course. Hearing date was set August 4th, 1930. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the connzunication of the Santa Aha Airways, Ltd., <br />relative to new airport located on West First Street, <br />was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by Kelly and car- <br /> <br />ried, the application of the First Ohristian Church of <br />Santa Aha to erect a building at~ the northeast corner of <br /> <br />Sixth and Birch Streets, Was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign agree- <br />ment with Roy E. Langley covering the construction of an <br />electric sign at his place of business, northwest corner <br />of Main and Fairview, described as. Lots 13 and 18, Block <br />11 of South Side Addition to Santa Aha; said sign extends <br />over the five foot set-back line established along South <br /> <br />Main Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
