Hasenjaeger. <br /> <br />Minutes of meetings of August 17th, 24th and <br /> 31st were approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Convention of <br /> <br />Calif.Sewage Works Assn. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />T~affic Signal. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />VwRe <br /> <br />Bond of <br /> <br />Bale, Fox & Heinrich. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports~ <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />City Warrants. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Banners for <br /> <br />Metropolitan Water District. <br /> <br /> 0n motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by witmer and~car- <br /> tied, the communication from the City of Monterey announc <br /> ing 1931 Conference of the California Sewage Works Asso- <br /> ciation to be held in Monterey September 21st and 22nd, <br /> was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> ried, the communication of Chief of Police Howard suggest <br /> ing the removal of traffic signals from Fourth ~nd Syca- <br /> more to First and Main Streets, was referred to the City <br /> Engineer to investigate the cost of moving signals and <br /> report back next Monday. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and car- <br /> ried, the application of the santa Aha Electric Company <br /> for-permission to hang electric sign for K. B. Drug <br /> Company at 201 N. Broadway, was granted u~der <br /> of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and car- <br /> ried, the bond of Bale, Fox and Heinrich for Lathing <br /> in amount of $500.00 was referred to the Chair for appro- <br /> val or disapproval. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br />~0n motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Wa~ner and car- <br />ried, the monthly reports of the various city officers <br />for August were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and car- <br /> tied, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br /> to demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> 0n motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and <br /> tied, the application of William g. Tway, Chairman of <br /> Publicity for Citizens Committee of the Metropolitan <br /> Water District, for permission to suspend ten banners <br /> four by six feet over down town intersections a~d at <br /> <br /> <br />
