On motion of <br /> Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded~by Warner and carried, the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted <br /> and the application granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the application of Herbert Krahling for permission <br />to erect a garage building at 2311 N. Main Street was <br />referred to the Planhing Commission and on their recom- <br />mendation the application was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger <br />carried, the application of Mr. Tolleson on behalf of the <br />Community Chest, for permission to hang banner on N. Main <br />Street between Fourth and Fifth, was granted. <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners and residents on or <br />near South Main Street requesting installation of side- <br />walks on west sides of S. Main Street below Pomona Street <br />for approximately 660 Feet. On motion of Trustee McBride <br />seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the petition was <br />referred to the Engineer to confer with the property <br />owners relative to installation of sidewalks on portions <br />of S. Main Street,-on both sides of said street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carrie~ and on recommendation of the Health Department <br />the City Attorney was instructed to prepare a tentative <br />ordinance controlling the rodent situation in the City <br />of Santa Ara. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the Mayor and Clerk were in~structed to sign an <br />application with the Pacific Electric Railway Company fc~ <br />permission to install a four inch water line under their <br />tracks at King Street in Santa Ara. <br /> <br />0nmotion of Trustee McBride, seconded ~y Warner and car- <br />ried, the hearing on the improvement of West Seventeenth <br />Street was continued fo~ three weeks, October 19th, 1931. <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the agreement with the Santa Ana Valley Irriga- <br />tion Company co~ering certain work to be done to change <br />its pipe line on'Wast Seventeenth Street, was approved <br />and the Mayo~ and Clerk instructed to sign same. <br /> <br /> <br />
