Main Street, was <br />referred to the Attorney and Clerk for investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mcbride, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the resolution adopted by the Board of <br />instructing their Secretary to proceed with the adver- <br />tising for bids to rent the building at ll9 Church <br />was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the application of E. A. Noe to erect a duplex <br />at 625 E. Myrtle Street, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Wi~ner and <br />carried, the reports of the city officers for the month <br />of October, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mcbride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br />to demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mcbride, seconded by Warner and car- <br /> <br />ried, the hearing of Protests on the improvement of West <br />Seventeenth Street, was continued for two weeks, No <br /> <br />16th, 1931. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, Elmer C. Gates was appointed special police <br />without pay in connection with his work as fireman of <br />the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />An Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha amending <br />Section 4 of Ordinance' 641 relating to the keeping of <br />domestic animals" <br /> <br /> <br />
