Santa Ama City Hall. <br /> December 23rd, 1935. 7:30 P.[[. <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. <br />Present: Trustees Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, <br />Ernest H. La, ton, Fred C. Rowland. <br />Absent: Trustees Plummer W. Bruns. <br /> <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />Property of the communication of Mrs. S.J. Goodrich relative to sell- <br />Mrs. S.J. Goodrich. lng VaCant lot north of the Sycamore Fire Station to the <br />City, was referred to the Fire Commissoner for investigation <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded b~ Smith and carried, <br />the communication of Mrs. S.J. Goodrich was received and <br />filed and the Clerk was instructed to advise Mrs. Goodrich <br />that the City is not in the market to purchase her property, <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />Application the application of E. J. Kuhne for a permit to open a Foot <br />E. J. Kuhne. Correction Office at 823 N. Broadway, was referred to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />Electric Sign the application of the Orange County Paint Company for per- <br />Orange County Paint Co. mission to hang a deadletter sign at 608 N. Main Street, was <br />referred to a committee for investigation and sign to be <br />allowed to remain until investigation is made and action take L. <br />Trustees Layton and Penn and Nr..Prebel appointed as committe <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />Electric Signs. the applications of Electrical Contracts for permits to hang <br />electric signs for the Pittsburg Paint Store at 401 W. Fourth <br />Street and for the 0akwood Winery at 415 W. Fourth Street, <br />were granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Smith,seconded by Layton and carried, <br />Reso. No. 2456 the following Resolution entitled: <br />Accepting Deed "Resolution accepting deed from Harold L. ~ylen and Vera <br />C. ~daylen, husband and wife, covering a portion of Lot 16, <br />Harold L. Maylen, etux. Block B of Tract No. 315" <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2456 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes, Trustees Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. <br />Layton, Fred C. Rowland. <br />Noes, Trustees None <br />Absent, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns. <br /> <br /> <br />
