BESOLUTION NO. 54-147 <br />STREET PURPOSES <br /> <br />ACCEPTING EASEMENT DEED FOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GEOBGE E. LEWIS and LAUNA K. LEWIS, husband and wife, <br />have presented to the City Council an easement deed, dated September <br />1, 195~, conveying property for valuable conside~ation in the amount <br />of $1188.00 in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of <br />California, described as: <br /> <br /> An easement for street purposes over: <br /> The Northerly 50 feet of the East half of the West half <br />of that certain tract of land described as follows: Com- <br />mencing at the Northwest corner of Section 17, in Township <br />5 South, Range 9 West,. San Bernardino Base and Meridian, <br />running thence South 65 rods; thence East 98-6/13 rods; <br />thence North 65 rods; thence West 98-6/13 rods to the point <br />of beginning. <br /> EXCEPTING from said Northerly 50 feet that portion thereof <br />included within the lines of East First Street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby Instr~xcted <br />to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange <br />County, California. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha <br />at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1954. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, ERMA KEELER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the <br />Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was <br />regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held on <br />the 7th day of September, 1954, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, COUNCILMEN: %Villiam Jerome, J.
