M. <br /> <br />Sundquist, Agent for General America Companies in the amount <br />of $2393.95, was accepted. <br /> <br />Whereas, a portion of the land covered by accompanying Map.of <br />Tract 1035 has been heretofore dedicated to the public for <br />street purposes as a part of Heliotrope Drive as appears of <br />record, and this map provides for a relocation of a portion <br />of said Heliotrope Drive, the City of Santa Ana acting throu <br />its Board of Trustees, insofar as said Board has power so to <br />do, hereby consents to the preparation and recordance of said <br />map by motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carrie <br />On motion of .Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />Map Tract 1035 was approved and the streets thereon were <br />accepted for public use and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to <br />sign same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the two checks in amount of $1000.O0 each and bond in amount <br />of $2000.00 of Allison C. Honer coverlr~ improvements in <br />Tract 1035, were accepted and Clerk instruct to cash checks. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the Water Commissioner and Superintendent were instructed to <br />proceed with the work of constructing a storm drain on West <br />First Street starting at the culvert 0n First Street Just <br />west of Townsend Street and continuing to the center line <br />of Monte Vista Avenue. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The Planning Commission was granted two weeks time to inves- <br />tigate the application of Bartelson Pontiac Company to move <br />their used car market to the 2400 block N. Main Street. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the property described as a lot 66x290 in Sec. 7 Twp. <br /> <br />447.2 feet South of 17th Street, Bd. E. by Grand Avenue, was <br />ordered posted for special use and the joint hearing date set <br />November 7th, 1938, in accordance with the application of <br />Matilda McQuaid to remodel residence into duplex located at <br />1358 Grand Avenue. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted <br />and the application of V. E. Maynard for special use to erect <br />a duplex on the northeast corner of Patton and Highland, <br />legal' descriptign being Lot 8, Block 13, Polytechnic Villa <br /> <br />Tract, was granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
