Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W.H. <br /> Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />Nap Tract No. 1052 and bond of Louis Braasch and Bessie <br />Braasch, his wife, as principal, in the amount of $1000.00, <br />were approved, covering the improvement of Lowell Street <br />from the north line of Washington Avenue to the s~uth line of <br />Fifteenth Street and the check of $1000.00 was received and <br />accepted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />Map Tract No. 10~ and bond of Emmet C. Rogers and Juna <br />Rogers, as principal, in the amount of $1000.00, were <br />covering the improvement of Freeman Street from the north <br />line of Washington Avenue to the south line of Fifteenth <br />Street and the check in amount of $1000.00 was received and <br />accepted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the claim for damages of Susan N. Fritcher in the amount of <br />$1695.00 for alleged injuries received while walking on No. <br />Main Street at Tenth Street, was denied on recommendation of <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the claim and demand of Florence Bagley in the amount of <br />$50?0.00 for alleged injuries received in a collision with <br />an automobile operated by a city employee, was denied on <br />recommendation of the City Attorney and the City Auditor was <br />instructed to notify the City's insurance company that claim <br />was filed and denied. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the City Attorney was instructed to proceed with the neces- <br />sary steps to acquire property for right-of-way on N. Flower <br />Street between Eighth and Washington, by eminent domain. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was ordered <br />followed and action on the application of Pulliam, Highley <br />and ~rawford for a permi$ to construct a church on the <br />east corner of Sycamore and Walnut Street, was deferred for <br />two weeks and the City Engineer was instructed to furnish the <br /> <br /> . . Planning Commission with a list of the names of the property <br />. owners, who si ed the protests against the application. <br /> <br /> <br />
