Drumm. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution concerning Tax-deeded Lands and replaciD~ same <br /> on Tax Rolls (Third Tax Sale)" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2592 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest N. Layton. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Trustees Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br /> Noes, <br /> <br />Absent, <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Trustee Bruns moved that the Ordinance amending water rates <br />be adopted as an emergency measure, seconded by Penn and <br />upon a call of the roll th~ following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Pl,,mmer W. Bruns, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton <br />Noes, Trustees Joseph P. Smith, Absent, Trustees F~ed <br /> <br />whereupon Trus~e~ Penn and Bruns withdrew their vote and <br />moved for reconsideration of the Ordinance and that the same <br />be made an order of business at an adjourned meeting of this <br />Council to be held at ?:30 P.M., September 12th, 1938, and <br />that when the Oouncll adjourned and shall adjourn to that <br />hour. This motion was made by Trustee Penn, seconded by <br />B~una and carried. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Bruns to have the statement of Joseph P <br />Smith, Water Oommissioner, stating his opposition to the <br />raising of water ra~es, inserted in the Minutes, was lost <br />for lack of a second. <br /> <br />~he motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns, to file the <br />statement of Joseph P. Smith, was lost. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the report of ~oeeph P. Smith, stating his reasons for oppos- <br />ing the Ordinance amending water rates, was referred to the <br />Finance Committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Planning Oommisslon was concurred <br />in and the property described as Lot 38, Tract No. 8lA locate <br />on Nalladay Street between Wakeham and Beverly, was ordered <br />posted for special use and the Joint hearing date set Septem- <br />ber 19th, 1938, in accordance with the ~pplication of Verna E <br />Wells to erect a duplex. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of TrusteePenn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Planning Oommlsslon was approved <br />and the property described as the West A8 feet of ~he East <br />I?A fest of the South 128 feet of Lot 2, of McFadden Wilson <br />Tract,'located on McFadden Street between Maple and Oak, was <br />ordered posted for special use and the joint hearlng date set <br /> <br /> <br />
