<br /> of C. D. Richards and James A. Randel, to serve as special
<br /> police officers, without pay, were approved.

<br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried,
<br />the City Engineer was authorized to notify the W.P.A.
<br />that the City of Santa ~na is ready for assignment of men
<br />to commence work on project covering the grading of alleys
<br />and various streets throughout the City.
