Council Chambers <br /> <br />santa Aha City Hall. <br />September 19th, 1938. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees Plummet W. Stuns, Joseph P. Smith, <br /> W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received a copy <br />of the Minutes, further reading of the Minutes of September <br />6th and 12th, 1938, was dispensed with and the Minutes <br />approved on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton <br />and carried.. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Verna E. Wells. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />A. M. Drumm. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Wm. Iverson. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application of <br /> <br />Harlow R. Billingsley. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Completion of <br /> <br />Improvements Tract 1032. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Completion of <br /> <br />Improvements Tract 1033. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been received, 0n motion <br />of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of Verna E. Wells to erect a duplex on Halladay Street <br />between Wakeham and Beverly,was referred to the Planning <br />Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been received, on motion <br />of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the appli- <br />cation of A. M. Drumm to erect a duplex on McFadden Street <br />between Maple and Oak Streets, was referred to the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been received, on motion <br />of Trustee Penn,.seconded by Layton and carried, the appli- <br />cation, of Wm. Iverson for change in zone from single family <br />residence to courts and apartments of property located on <br />Patton Street between Tenth and Washington, was referred <br />back to the Planning Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, <br />the Application of HarloweR. <br /> <br />seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> <br /> Billingsley for special use to <br /> <br />construct a service station on Flower Street between 8th and <br />10th Streets, described as being Lots I and ~, Tract No. <br />was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Communications of the City Engineer and the Water Superinten- <br />dent were read relative to the completion of work in Tract <br />No. 1032 and on motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant in <br />the amount of $1000.00 in favor of Louis Braasch for bond <br />deposited covering work in subdivision Tract No. 1032. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Communications of the City Engineer and the Water Superinten- <br />dent were read with reference to the completion of work in <br />Tract 1033 in a satisfactory manner and on motion of Trustee <br />Layton, seconded by Smith and carried, the Clerk was <br /> <br /> <br />
