<br /> Resolution for Sale of Tax Deeded. Lot was read, considered,

<br /> On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried,
<br /> the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "An Ordinance prohibiting the sale and discharge of certain
<br /> types of fireworks and explosives, and regulating the sell-
<br /> ing, displaying and discharging of other fireworks and
<br /> explosives and requiring licenses for the sale thereof."
<br />
<br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for
<br />second reading.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Kelsey and carried,
<br />the report of the Department of Public Ways was accepted and
<br />the application of Vernon J. Andrew for the installation of
<br />a street light on the alley intersection at 908 Brown Street
<br />was denied.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried,
<br />the budget for the second quarter gasoline ta× for the fiscal
<br />year 1940-41, was apnroved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized
<br />to sign the project statement and submit same to the State
<br />Department of Public Works.

<br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried,
<br />the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution for extension of South Broadway ~asterly to
<br /> South Main Street in the City of Santa Ana"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2806 and
<br />passed by the following vote:
<br />

<br />Santa Ana Boulevard as through streets, was read, considered
