Baden <br /> <br /> In Re <br /> <br />Protest <br />Dine-and Dance <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Lease <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Hill and carried, <br /> application of Powell Neon Sign Co. to hang a Neon sign and <br /> border design at 914 North Main St. for the Sanitary Laundry <br /> was granted and sign ordered hung under the supervision of <br /> the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Yost and carried, <br /> application of Frank RathJen to conduct a shooting gallery <br /> at 318 West Fourth St. in the same building in which the <br /> "Penny Arcade" is now being operated, was received and <br /> referred to the Depart, merit of Public Safety. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />communication from C.B.Muehlenbruch, Asst. Mgr. of <br />MontgomeryWard, requesting that loading zone on North Main <br />St. north of Fourth St. b~e painted and extended to twenty <br />feet ten inches, was received and referred to the Director <br />of Public Ways~ <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Hill and carried, <br />communication from Harry B. Riley, State Controller, regard- <br />ing the possibility of using tax deeded properties for <br />recreational purposes, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Hill and carried, <br />the resignation .of Roy S. Horton was received with regrets <br />and his seat on the Traffic Safety C~mmiaSion was. declared <br />vaoante <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Kelsey and carried, <br />the monthly reports of the various City Officials, for the <br />month of November, were referred to the Council as a whole. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Kelsey and' carried, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign agreement with <br /> <br />Victor M. Baden covering erection of electric sign extendingi <br />over set-back line at 112~ North Main Street. <br /> <br />A communication was read from Mrs. Robert McPhee, Cortes. <br />Secy. Parent Teacher Association, protesting against permit,. <br />lng dancing where alcoholic beverages are served, and on <br />motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Hill and carried, <br />communication was ~,eferred to the Council as a whole and <br />ordered file~With other protests on file in the Clerk's <br />Office. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Hill and carried, <br />the ~ayor and Clerk were authorized to enter into lease with. <br /> <br /> <br />
