Rankin <br /> <br />An application from the Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp., <br />for a loading zone on Spurgeon St. running North from the <br />alley between 4th and 8th Sts., and recommendation of the <br />Chief of Police with reference to this loading zone were read. <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under <br /> Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />establishing a loading zone on the East side of Spurgeon St. <br />between Fourth and Fifth St., located as follows: the south <br />19 ft. of the North 90.8 ft, wqs introduced, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 3242 and passed by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Dale G. <br /> Otto R. <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent, Trusteea None <br /> <br />Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br />Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Communication from John Luxembourger, Chief of Fire Dept., <br />stating that Russell Bland Goetting was appointed as a temporary <br />hoseman replacing Norman Garrett, was read, and on motion <br />of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the <br />appointment was approved and communication ordered filed. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Degkert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />establishing a loading zone on the west side of Main St., <br />between First and Walnut St., located as follows: <br /> <br /> the southerly 48 feet of the northerly 1V5 feet, <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. <br />3243 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br /> Otto R. Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent, Trustees None <br /> <br />L. W. Hypes presented and read a Resolution pertaining to the <br />abatement of juvenile delinquency in which the Orange County <br />Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Santa Ana Girl <br />Scouts offer their services to the Council to help solve <br />the problem of youth delinquency. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />the resignation of S.H.Finley from the Bowers Memorial Museum <br />Board was accepted wi~h regrets and Clerk instructed to write <br />Mr. Finley thanking him for his services while on the Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br /> <br />to serve as a member of the <br />fill the vacancy created by <br /> <br />Herbert P. Ranktn was appointed <br />Bowers Memorial Museum Board to <br />the resignation of S.H.Finley. <br /> <br /> <br />
