Adams, patrolman, effectiw <br />December 1st, 1944, was read and on motion of Trustee <br />DeckerZ, seconded by Dixon and carried, the resignation <br />was accepted with regrets. <br /> <br />The resignation of B.M.Battelle, patrolman, effective <br />November ~Oth, 1944, w~s read and on motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the resignation <br />was accepted with regrets. <br /> <br /> Co~ication from the Fire Chief advising Of resignations <br /> of Walter Ellison Spoor, Roy E. Ausman, Fred F. Wilson, <br /> Leslie Langham and W.O.Wilson, amd appointments of <br /> <br /> John Rich, Nov. 13, 1944 and Richard Weeks, was read <br /> <br /> and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br /> carried, the communication was received and filed. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion <br /> of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the <br /> application of Jack DeWhite Kinzer to drive a taxi fox- <br /> the Broadway Cab Co., was denied. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckem, seconded by Dixon and <br /> carried, the bond of R.M.Crookshank, City Judge, written~ <br /> by the Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co., in the <br /> amount of $5,000.00, was approved pending opinion of <br /> City Attorney relative to amount of bond. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried <br />applications of Powell Neon Sign Co. to hang a neon sign <br />for B.J. Chandler, 405} W. 4th St., and fo~ Theo.Osborne, <br />318 E. 4th St., were granted and signs ordered,hung <br />under supervision of Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried~ <br />the monthly report of the Building Inspector for City of <br /> <br /> <br />
