<br />Mr. Browning ap peered before the Council protesting against
<br />amending Ordinance No. 1191, regulating parking meters.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br /> the following Ordinance entitled.-
<br />
<br /> "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1191, an
<br /> Ordinance regulating parking meters in the City
<br /> of Santa Aha"
<br />
<br /> as amended, was introduced, read, considered and placed on file
<br /> for second reading.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the
<br />resignation of Hazel Lavello, Assistant City Treasurer, was
<br />accepted.
<br />
<br /> Communication was read from City Treasttrer advising of appointmen
<br /> of Connie Kelsey, as Assistant City Treasurer, to fill vacancy
<br /> created by resignation of Hazel Lavello.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />
<br />Attorney was instructed to check into the transferring of'bond of
<br />Asst. City
<br /> Treasurer/and appointment of Connie Kelsey, as Assistant City
<br />
<br />Treasurer, was approved.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />Mayor was authorized to execute Supplemental Agreement Transferris
<br />Improvements to the City of Santa Aha by the U.S. Government
<br />termin, ating Lease No. W-509-eng-l?09 and Lease No. W-868-eng-4057
<br />on headquarters and other buildings W. 8th St., and Auditor autho
<br />ized to draw warrant in the amount of $1~,000.00 to the Treasurer
<br />of the United States in complete satisfaction and release of
<br />Government from all obligations under said leases, and the fol
<br />ing Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution Declaring Termination of Lease~ and Accepting Improvements"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3662 and passed
<br />by the following vote:
