Martin Jr. Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of June 19th and June 26th, 1950, further reading cf the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried. # In Re Bids Const. rest rooms Prentice Park On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, Clerk was authorized to open bids for construction of rest at Prentice Pa~k, as followe~ Bid of William D. Greschner, in the amount of $11,490.00.' No bond or check accompaniedbid. Bid of Famulare-Stromberg, Inc., in the amount of $11,600.00. Bond in the amount of 10% bid accompanied bid. Bid of Linson Company, in the amount of $12,215.00. Cashiers Check in the amount of $1,350.00 accompanied bid. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, In Re Bids Trees Prentice Park were referred to committee for recommendation and to report ba Trustee 0hamdle~, Park ~uperintendemt, P~rchasing Agent and ~ Building Inspector, were appQinted, as committee. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, t Clerk was 'authorized to open bids covering the furnishing of labor and necessary equipment required to vertically pull and dispose of, either by burning or otherwise, between 900 and 12 orange trees in Prentice Park, as follows: Bid of James P. Loving: $2.50 per tree to furnish labor and equipment necessary to vertically pull and dispose of from 900 to 1216 orange tree providing a permit is obtainable to burn all brush and stumps this location. In addition, for $2.50 p. er stump I will pull and dispose of so: 200 orange stumpe,~more or less, where trees have been and the old trees cut off at the top of the ground, these to be pulled vertically where it is possible to get a g~ip on them with vertical pulling equipment but in no came shall it construed to mean that I mhall not be allowed to remove such short stumps and roots~by the most economical means and Bond in the amount of $310.00 accompanied bid. Bid of Bherrlll J. Pohlmann: $2250.00 for burning and removing of 900 orange trees. Any all trees to be removed over the 900 minimum will be at the fa' of $2.50 per ~ree. No responsibility assumed for damage done pipelines during clearing of trees. Cashiers check in the amount of $225.00 accompanied bid. Bid of Cee Tee Construction Company: Pull vertically, pile and burn from 900 to 1216 orange trees $.87~ each, Alternate bid of $,75 per tree for removing from 900 to 1216 orange trees, using the push out, pile and burn method. Certified check in the amount of $106.40 accompanied bid.
