Pennlngton <br /> <br />Fairview & Bristol Sts. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, bond No. B-9601, dated April 7th, 1947, of <br />M.&.M. House Moving Co., written by the Pacific Employers <br />Insurance Co., in the amount of $1,000.00, and bond No. <br />960186, dated March 21st, 1~47, of C.H~Basore and <br />Charles S. Basore, dba C.H.Basore Company, written by <br />the Indemnity Insurance Company of North America, in the <br />amount of $1,000.00, were approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Chairman of the Board and Clerk were authorized <br />to execut~ lease between City of Santa Ana an(I State <br />Department of Education, dated April 1st, 1947, covering <br />leasing of Rooms 138, 139, 140 and 141, at the Community <br />Center Building, W. 8th St., for a period of five (B) <br />yea~s, at a total rental of $3,457.80; the sum of $8?.63 <br />payable on or before the 30th day of April, and a like <br />sum on or before the last day of each succeeding month <br />during term of lease. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, City Attorney was authorized to draw lease <br />between City of Santa Ana and Robert Heydon covering <br />leasing of space to be used for Canteen at Community <br />Center Building, W. 8th Street. <br /> <br />This being the date set for public hearing to amend the <br />Zoning Ordinance by changing the existing business <br />districts at the four corners of 17th St. and Bristol <br /> <br />St. and 17th and Grand Avenue from the C-1 classification <br />to the "C" District and no written or oral protests <br />having been received, on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />seconded by Dixon and carried, the following Ordinance <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance Amending ZoNing Ordinance No. 1074" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for <br />second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for public hearing to amend the <br />Zoning Ordinance to reclassify four lots at the south- <br />east corne~ of Fairvtew and Bristol Streets from R-1 to <br />the "C" District, as requested in the application of <br /> <br />Ben D. Pennington, and no written or oral protests having <br />been received, on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by <br />Cheney and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance Amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1074" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for <br />second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />
