249 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 681 <br /> <br />A~OLUTION BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ORDERI~ THE GRADE OF ~D UPON NORTH MAIN STREET, A PUBLIC ' <br />STREET IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CHANGED AND RE-ESTABLISHFD, <br />DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION OF THIS RESOLUTION, AND DESIGNATING <br />A NEWSPAPER FOR THAT PURPOSE. <br /> <br /> Whereas, on l~ae let day of November, 1920, the Board of <br /> Trustees of ~he City of Santa Aha passed its Resolution of In- <br /> tention No. 670 to order the grade of and upon North ~ain Street, <br /> <br /> a public~ree: in the City of Santa Aha, changed and re-establish- <br />'ed and which resolution stetted the name of the public street, the <br /> <br /> grade of whic~ it is proposed toohange and re-establish, and set <br /> 'forth the change of grade px~posed to be made; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, said Resolution of Intention No. 670 was there- <br /> <br />after posted conspdcuuusly Sot two days on <br /> <br />the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa <br /> <br />the ~1~ua~er door of <br /> <br />Ana, and published ESr <br /> <br />two insertions in SANTA ~A DAILY EVENING REGISTER , a daily news- <br />paper published and circulated in the city of Santa Ana, and de- <br />signated by said Board of Trustees for that purpose, which pub- <br />lication was had therein on'the 3rd~ ~th days of November, 1920; <br /> <br /> and <br /> Whereas, the Street Superintendent of the city of Santa <br /> <br />Aha thereafter caused to be consp~muamsly posted and on the 5th day <br />of November, 1920, there was conspicuously posted along North <br />Main Street, ~he public street designated in Resolution of Inten- <br />tion No. 6?0 and of which it is proposed to change and re-estab- <br />lish the grade, less than 100 ft. in distance apart and Z?O in all, <br />Notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention .No. 6?0, each <br />of said notices were headed - NOTICE OF CHANGE OF GRADE- in letters <br />more than one inch in length and in legible characters stated the <br /> <br /> fast of the passage of the said Resolution of Intention, its date, <br />the name of the puolic street, the grade of which is propose~ to <br />be changed, to-wit: North Main Street, and referred to said Resol- <br />ution Of Intention No. 670 for further particulars, and also said <br />Street Superintendent caused a notice similar in substance t o be <br />published and the same was published for six days, to-wit: on the <br />5-6-g-9-10-11-12 days of November, 1920, in SANTA ANA DAILY EVEN~ <br />ING REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the city <br />of Santa Aha, and designated by the Board of Trustees of seld city <br />for that purpose; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, more than thirty (]0) days has elapsed after the <br />5th day of November, 1920, the date of the first publloation of said <br />notice of the passage of Resolution of Intention No. 670, and no <br />protests have been filed; and <br /> <br />Nhereas, the Boaxd of Trustees of the ci~ of Santa Ana <br />elected, to proceed under, and did proceed under "Change of Grade <br /> <br />Act of 1909", <br />Intention No. <br /> <br />and expressed Such election in said Resolution of <br /> <br />670; <br /> <br /> <br />
