A RESOLUTION .BY TME BOARD OF,TRUSTEE~ OF THE CITY OF SANTA ARA ORDk~ING THE GRADE OF AND UP0~ A PORTION OF EAST FIRST STREET, A PUBLI~ FT~¢T jN THE CIT~ OF SANCTA ARA, CH~GED AND RE-ESTAB- LISHED, DI~E~TIN~ THE PUBLICATIO~ OF THIS RESOLUTION, AND N~TING A NEWSPAP~ FOR ~H~T PURPOSE. ~ereas, on ~ 1st ~ay of November, I~Z0, the Boar~ of Trustees of the City of S~ta Ana passed its resolution of Inten- tion No. 671-to order the g~ade of and upon a portion of East First S~reet, a public street in t~ City of ~ta ~a, changed ~d re- established, ~d which Resolution stated the n~e of the public street ~d designated the portion thereof Upon which it is pro- posed to ~h~ge ~d re-establish the grade .~d set forth the Whereas, said Resolu~ion~ Intention ~o. 671 w~ there- ~tar posted conspic~usly for two days on the ch~ber door of the Board of Trustees of the city of S~ta ~a, ~d published by two insertions in SAMTA ~ADAILT EVENING REGISTER, a daily newspaper published ~d circulated in the city of S~ta Ana, ~d desig- nated by said Bo~d of Trustees ~or that p~pose, which publication was h~ therein on the 3rd ~md 4th day of ~ovember, 1~20; and ~ereas, the Street Superintendent of the city of S~ta A~a there~tez caused to be conspicuously, posted and on the 5th day of November, 1920, there was conspicuously posted ~ong t~e portion of East First Street, desi~ated in Resolution of Inten- tion No. 671 , and of which it is li~h the grads, less thm~ 100 ft. al 1, 671, proposed to change an~ re-estab- in distance apart, and 100 in Notice of the passage or said Resolution or Intention No. each of said not~oes were headed- NOTlC~ 0r CHA~GF OF ~RADE in letters more than one inch in length and in legible characters s%ated the fact of the passage o~ the saia Resolution of Yntention its date, the name o~ the public street and designated the por- tion thereof the grade of which is proposed to be changed, and re- ferzed to said~Resolution of Intention No. ~?1, for further par- titulars, and also said Stzeet Superlntendent caused a notice sim- ilar in substance to be pu~lished and the ssme was published for six days, to-wit: on the 5-6-g-9-10-I1-12 days of November, 1920 in SANTA ARA DAILY EVE%;ING REGISTER and circulated in the city of Santa Board of~Trustees of said city for that purpose; Whereas, more than thirty (30) days has 5th day of November, 1~20, the date of the first said no,ice of pRssage of Resolution of Intention No. protests ha~ been filed; and a daily newspaper published Ana, and designated by t he and elapsed after the pub] ication of 671 and no Whereas, ~he Boa~d of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana elected to proceed under, and did proceed under "Change of Grade Act of 1~O~", and expressed such election in Said Resolution of
