All of the elevations in this Resolution of In- tention hereinbefore stated and given are based upon e datum plane adopted and established by Ordinance No. 571 of the city of Santa Aha, which datum plane is 124.2gg feet below the center of a bench mark, consisting of a copper plate fixed in and located at the Northwesterly corner of the City Hall of the City of Santa Ana, and marked: U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey B.M. All said elevations are expressed in feet and hundredths of feet and are elevations above said datum .plane. Section 5. At all points existing between the consecutive designated p~in~s where the elevations are stated and given and on the same street, the grade, shall conform to a true anduniform gradient along the center line of the street, between said designated points. All distances between designated Points at which the ele- vations are stated and given are to be measurezl along the center line of the street umless otherwise specifically herein provided. Section 4. The City Council of the city of Santa Aha, here- by elect to proceed under and all proceedings had and taken to change and re-establish the official grade of East First Street are and shall be taken under and in conformity with the provisions of the "Change of Grade Act of Section 5.
