Ama did, <br /> <br />on the 2nd day of May, 1921, pass its ReSOlution of Intention No. 699 <br />to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to <br />be made in the city of Santa Ana, which resolution of Intention No. <br />699 was duly and legally published twice in SA~TA ANA DAILY FVE~ING <br />RFC!STYR, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the city of <br />Santa Ama, all as required by law and appears from the affidavit of <br /> <br />T. G. McDonour, a princiral Clerk of the printers and publishers of said <br />daily newspaper, and which affidavi$ was filed in the office of the <br />Clerk o~ the city of Santa Ama on the 5th day of May, 1921, and now <br />on file therein; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, after the adoption of said resolution of intention and <br />on the 5th day of May, 1921, the Street Superintendent of the city of <br />Santa Ana caused no rices of the passage of Resolution of Intention No. <br />699 headed: "NOTICE OF I~PROVEMk~T" to be duly, legally and conspicuous- <br />ly posted along the line of s aid contemplated work and improvement, <br />less than 300 ft. in distance apart, and 24 notices in all, and the <br />work being chargeable upon adistrlct also to be posted along all the <br />open streets within such district less than 300 ft. in distance apart, <br />and s~x notices in a~l oneaSh street, as appears from the affidavit <br />of Edw. W. Dahl, said street aupe~imtendent who personally posted <br />said notices of Improvement and who, upon the completion of the posting <br />of said notices, forthwith On the 6th day of ~ay, 1921, filedaaid <br />affidavit in the office of the Ot~k~of the city of Santa Ama, making <br />oath that he completed the posting of said uotices on the 5th day of <br /> <br />May, 1921, <br /> <br /> Whereas, <br />19th day of May, <br /> <br /> at the hour of seven o'clock p.m. of Thursday, the <br />1921, at the council chamber of the Board of <br />Trustees of the city~Sf Santa Ana, that be~J4Ag the day , hour and place <br />when and where any and all persons having any objections to tbs' pro- <br />posed work or improvement might appear before the Beard of Trustees <br />of the city of Santa Ama and show cause why said improvement should <br />not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution; and being a <br />time less than forty and more than fifteen days from the passage of <br />Resolution ~;~Intention No. 699, and more than ten days after the post- <br />ins Of sal~M~[tice of I~rovement was ful~ completed; the Board of <br />Trustees m~t, hea~neldered, passed upon, over ruled and denied all <br />protests or objections presented in time, form, and manner aa required <br />by law, and the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana havin~ ac- <br />quired Jur isdiction~o order the proposed work done or improvement made; <br /> <br /> It is hereb~ resolved by the Board of Trustees of the city <br /> <br />of Santa Ama that the l~lic interest and convenience requireg the work <br />and improvemen%~herein described, and that the Board of Trustees of <br />the city of Sa~t&~Ama hereby orders the following work to be done and <br />improvement to be made in said city; on and along a portion of that <br /> <br /> <br />
