<br />A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TWE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
<br />ORDERING THE GRADE OF AND UPON A PORTION OF BRISTOL STREET,
<br />A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, .~HANGED AND RE-
<br />ESTAgLISHED, DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION ~ THIS RESOLUTION AND
<br />DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER FOR THAT PURPOSE.

<br /> Whereas, on the 16th day of May, 1921, the Board of
<br />
<br /> Trustees of the city of Santa Aha passed its Resolution of In-
<br /> tention No. ?04 to order the grade of and upon a portion of
<br /> Bristol Street, a public street in the city of Santa Ana, changed
<br /> and re-established, and which resolution stated the name of the
<br /> public street, the grade of which it is proposed to change and re-
<br /> establish, and set forth the change o£ grade proposed to b~: made;
<br /> and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, said Resolution of Intention No. ?0~ was there
<br /> after posted conspicuously for two days on the Cnambar door of the
<br /> Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, and published by
<br /> two insertions in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, a daily news-
<br /> paper ~ublisned and circulated in the city of Santa Ana, and desig-
<br /> nated by said Board of Trustees for that puzpose, which publication
<br /> was had therein on the l?th and lSth days of May, 1921; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, the Street Superintendent of the city of Santa
<br />
<br />Ana thereafter caused to be conspicuously posted, and on the 19th
<br />day of May, 1921, there was conspicuously posted along the portion
<br />of Brisol Street, the~public street designated in Resolution of
<br />Intention No. ?04, and of which it is proposed to ohenge and re-
<br />establish the grade, less thsn 100 ft. in distance apart, and 150
<br />notices in all, Notice of the passage of said Resolution of Inten-
<br />tion No. ?04, each of said notices were headed- NOTICE OF CHANCE
<br />OF GBADE - in letters more than one inch in length and in legible
<br />characters stated the fact of the passage of the said Resolution
<br />of Intention, its date, the name of the public street, the grade of
<br />which is proposed to be changed, to-wit: a portion of Bristol Street
<br />and referred to said Resolution of Intention No. ?04 for further
<br />particulars, and also said Street Superintendent caused a notice
<br />similar in substance to be published and the same was published for
<br />six days, to-wit: on the 20th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th days
<br />of May, 1921, in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, a daily news-
<br />paper published and circulated in the city of Santa Aha, and desig-
<br />nated by the Board of Trustees of said city for that purpose; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, more than thirty (30) days have alapeed after~
<br />
<br />the 2Oth day of May,~ 1921, the date of the first publicstion of said
<br />notice of the passage of Resolution of Intention No. ?04, and
<br />no protests have been filed; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana,
<br />elected to proceed under, and did proceed under "Change of Gmade
<br />ACt of 1909" and expressed such election in said Resolution of In-
<br />tention No. ?04:
