152 <br /> <br /> All of the said coupons shall be signed by the <br /> <br /> Treasurer of the City of Santa Ama, but the Treasurer's <br /> signature may be engraved printed, or lithographed on the <br /> interest coupons in place of the Treasurer's signature by hand. <br /> <br /> The interest coupons shall be consecutively numbered <br /> <br />from 1 upward on each bond and the interest thereby represented <br />shell be paid on the 2nd day of January and July in each year, <br />commencing with the 2nd day of January, 1923, being six months <br />before the maturity of the first annual series of the bonds, <br />shall be for the interest accruing thereon from the 28rd day of <br />April, 1923. <br /> <br /> Bond No. 1 in the denomination of $1000.00 end Bond No. <br />11 in the denomination of $504.38 shall constitute annual <br />series No. 1 and be payable July 2nd, 1924, being the 2nd day <br />of July next succeeding nine months after the date of the <br />bond. Annually thereafter on the 2nd day of July of each <br />year two additional bonds in li~e denominations and in <br />successive numerical order shall fall due and be paid, until <br />the last yesr when one bond in the denomination of $1000.00 <br />and one bond in the denomination of ~504.38 shall be paid, and <br />the bonds payable in each year shall constitute the annual <br />series for the year in w~ich they are to be nejd. <br /> <br /> Fourth Ail of the bonds shall be sold at the hour <br /> <br />of V:~O P.M. of ~onday, the 4th day of June, 1925, to the <br /> <br />highest bidder therefor, but not less than their par and <br /> <br />accrued interest at the date <br />proceeds of the sale thereof <br />treasury of the city of Salts <br /> <br />of their delivex~y, and the <br />shall be deposited in the <br /> <br /> Ana to the credit of West Sixth <br /> <br />and Olive Streets improvement Bond redemption fund, and from ~ <br />which there shall be paid to the contractor, or his assigns, the <br />balance due him upon the assessment and warrant for the work done <br />and improvement made upon a portion of West Sixth Street and <br />Olive Street, including interest upon the principal amount at <br />the rate of ~% ~er annum from the 23rd day of April, 1923, and <br />the surplus of such proceeds, if any, shall be credited to sa~d <br />redemption fund for the payment of such bonds. <br /> <br /> If no satisfactory bids are received, or the Board of <br />Trustees determine that the bids received are not satisfactory as <br />to price or responsibility of the bidder, the Board of Trustees <br />reserves the right to reject all bids received, if any, and re- <br />advertise the bonds for sale, or deliver said bonds to the con- -~ <br />tractor or his assigns, in satisfaction of the sttm due him upon <br />the assessment and warrant. <br /> <br /> Fi~ th ~he assessment, levy and collection of taxes <br /> <br />in and for the city of Santa Ana being made through and by the <br />County of Orange, a~d the officers thereof, it is ordered that <br />a copy hereof be filed i~ the office of the Auditor of the <br />county of Orange, California. <br /> <br /> <br />
