said daily newspaper, and .which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha on the 29th day of August, 1923, and now on file therein; and WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention No. 1068, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (~00) feet in distance apart, ~d 39 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in manner, form and substance as pro- vided by law, and the work being chsrgeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the open public streets within such district, not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance and did post on each street at least said streets 90 notices; and WHEHEAS, the Street Superintendent Santa Aha commenced to post the said notices apart on each street, Z notices, ~d on all of the City of on the 5th day of September, 1928, ~d fully completed the posting thereof on the 5th day of September, 1928, more than ten days before the day set'for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work or improvement, all as appears by the affidavit of W.G. Knox, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said city on the 6th day of September, 1928, and now in file therein; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of ~:80 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 24th day of September, 1928, being the day, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention; and WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented hav- ing be~n disposed of, overruled and denied in time, manner and form as required by law, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa aha having now acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement, it is hereby; RESOLVED, that the public interest and conveniance requires the work hereinafter described and the Board of Trus- tees of the City of Santa ~na hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement made in, on and along West Fifth Street in the City of Santa Ana
