Herrick, principal clerk of the prin- ters and pub]is!~ers of said daily newspaper, a~d which affi- davit was filed in the office of the C]~rk of t~he City of Santa Aaa on the ~0th day of October, 192S, a~ now on file therein; and ~hereas, after the adoption of said Resolution of Intention and o~ the 1Sth day of October, 192S, the Street Superintendent of t~e City of Santa Aaa caused notices of the passage of Resolution of Intention No. 1102 headed, "NOTICE 0F i~Pk0VE~ENT" to be duly, legally and conspicuous- ly posted along the line of said cant~mp]ated wor~ an~ im- provement, less than ~00 feet in distance apart, an~ notices in ail, anU the work being chargeable u~on a dis- trier also to be posted along ali 'of the open streets and all~ys within such district less than 300 feet in distal]ce apart, and 5~ notices in all on each street, as arpears from the affidavit of W. G. ~nox, sa'id Street buperir~tendent, who personally posted said Notices of Improvement and who, upon the completion of the post~ng of said notices, forthwith on the ~Oth day of October, ].923, fi]ed said affidavit in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aaa, making oath that he completed the postfng of said notices on the 16th day of October, 1923. Lhereas, at the hour of seven-thirty o~clock P.5i. of Monday~ the 5th day of November, ].~23, at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana~ that being the day, hour and place when end where any and all persons hav~ng any objections to the proposed work or improvement might anpear before the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aaa and show cause why sa~d improvement not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution; an being a time less than forty and more than fifteen days from the passage of Resolution of Intention No. 1102, and more than ten days after the posting of said Notice of Improve- ment was fully completed; the Board of Trustees met, henrd, considered, passed upon, overruled an~ denied all protests or objections presented in time, fol~r~ and manner as required by law, and the Bo~rd of Tru£tees of the City of Santa Aaa having acquired jurisdictio~ to order the proposed work done or improvement made: It is hereby resolved by the Board of Trustees the City ~f Santa nna that the public interest and conven- ience requires the work and improvement herein described, and that the Bo~rd of Trustees of the C~y of Santa hereby orders the following work to be done and improve- ment to be made in said ci~y, in, on and along the roadway of
