to cover the s~am due for the work performed and specified iu the contract made under proceedings for the said improve- ment, which assessment was approved by the Board of Trustees of said city on the 5th day of November, 192Z. And ~'hereas, the Clerk of the City of Santa ~na has given notice required by law iu which notice November ~Sth, 192Z, at the hour of eight o'clock P.~. was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hail of said city as the place where any and all persons interested iu the said work might be heard. And ~hereas, uo perso~ aggrieved has filed with the Board of Trustees z written objection to sa~ assess- ment as required by law, and whereas, at the time set for hearing protests or objections the Boar~ii of Trustees of said city proceeded to hear the same, and a~l of said pro- tests or objections to said assessment of the wqrk done havin~ been heard, it is hereby Resolved, by the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa ~na that all of the said protests and object~ons against said assessment or the work done under said pro- seedings be, and the same ar~ hsreb~', overruled and denied and the assessment be affirmed, and that the Street Super- intendent be, and he is hereby directed to attach to said assessment a warrant in the form and manner required by law, and s~all record the same in the office of said Superintendent of Streets.
