RESOLUTION FIXING TIME F~R <br /> <br /> PROTESTS 0R OBJECTIONS <br /> <br /> NO. 1161. <br /> <br />HEARING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santai <br />Aha did, on the 19th day of November, 1923, pass its Ordinance <br />of Intention N~. V35 to order an improvement in said city <br />under the provisions of the "Street Opening Act of 1903", theI <br />names of streets and the character of the proposed w~rk being <br />described in said Ordinance of Intention, which ordinance is <br />expressly referred to for further particulars; and <br /> <br /> Wt~REAS, thereafter the notices and publications <br />required by law were regularly given and made, and certain <br />interested persons, owners of property liable to be taken or <br />assessed for said work made written protests or GbJectious <br />against the improvement or against the extent of the assess- <br />ment district and delivered the same to the Clerk not later <br />th~n the hour set for he,ring such objections; ,nd <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time set in the said Ordinance of <br />Intention and notices for hearing said protests or objection <br />the Clerk aD,eared with sa'id protests but ~ quorum of said <br />Board was not present and whereas, the ~th day of January, <br />1924, w~s the next regular meeting of smid Board of Trustees, <br />the said Clerk again presented the protests against the pro- <br />posed public work, to-wit, the improvement on Richland Streeti <br />and whereas, the same were carefully considered. <br /> <br /> IT IS HEP~BY RESOLVED, that the protests ~galnst <br /> the improvement are not signed by the owners of a majority <br /> the frontage of the property fronting on streets or parts of <br /> streets within said assessment district, and it is therefore <br /> ordered that Monday, the 21st day of J~nu~ry, 1924, at V:30 <br /> <br /> o'clock P.5~. be, end the sa~e is hereby set as the time, and <br /> the council chamber of the Board of Trustees in .the City Hal~ <br /> of Santa Ana, as the place, where the Bo,rd of Trustees shal~ <br /> hear said protests. <br /> <br /> The City Clerk shall cause a notice of the time <br /> place of the said hearing to be published for at least five <br /> days in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspa- <br /> per published and circulated in the City of Santa Ans, w~ich <br /> paper is hereby designated for that purpose. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution 'is <br />a full true and correct copy ~ Resolution mo. ll61, duly <br />introduced and regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of ~anta Aha ~t a regular meeting thereof held on <br />the Vth day of January, 1924, by the following v~e: <br />Ayes, Trustees, c.H.
