RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> NO. 1261. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Boar~ of Trustees of the City of Saute <br />Aris on the 28th day of April, 1924, passed its Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1242, to order the hereinafter described work <br />to be done and improvement to be made on Roe Drive in said <br />City, which Hesolutlon of Intention No. 1242 was duly and <br />legmlly published twice in the Smuts Ans Daily Evening Regls~ <br />tar, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City <br />of Smuts Ana, all as required by law, as s~pears from the <br />affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clerk of the printe~i <br />and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of SantaAna <br />on the 1st day of May, 1924, and now ou file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />P~esolution of Intention No. 1242, the Street Superintendent <br />of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line. <br />of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than <br />three hundred (~00) feet in distsnce apart, and l0 in all, <br />notices ~f the passage of said Resolution of Intention, hea- <br />ded NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in manner, form, and substance as. <br />provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a diS- <br />trict, slso cousplcuously posted copies of said notice along! <br />all of the open streets and alleys within such district, not' <br />more than three hundred (800) feet in distance apart on <br />street, and did post on each street st least l0 notices; and~ <br />on said streets 10 notices; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Aha cormmenced to post said notices on the 6th day of <br />May, 1924, and fully completed the posting thereof on the ~h <br />day of May, 1924, more than ten days before the day set for <br />hearing p~otests or objections to the proposed work and im- <br />provement, sll as appears by the affidavit of W.G. Knox, <br />Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the <br />office of the Clerk of said City oh the ?th day of May, 1924, <br />and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber <br />thereof at the hour of V:80 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 19th <br />day of M~y, 1924, being the d~y, hour and place named in the <br />Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and <br />where any and all persons having any objection to the pro- <br />posed work or improvement might appesr before the Board of <br />Trustees and show cause w~y said proposed improvement should <br />not be carried out in sccordsnce with said Resolution of In- <br /> <br />tention; and <br /> <br /> <br />
